The Music School of Delaware Announces Date for Beethoven in Blue Jeans

(WILMINGTON, DEL.) January 18, 2011 – The Music School of Delaware, the state’s only nationally accredited statewide community music school, announces the date for its popular fundraising event, Beethoven in Blue Jeans, on March 12, 2011 at Greenville Country Club.


This year’s Beethoven in Blue Jeans will feature performances by Angel Band and the Music School’s Brandywine Fiddlers & Matson Run Pickers along with a live auction of unique experiences, musical chairs entertainment and airbrush tattoos.


"My wife Kara and I, as well as our fantastic co-chairs, are extremely excited about this event,” comments Michael Dodson, event co-chair and Music School board member. “The committee has worked very hard to design a wonderful evening to both educate and entertain. We are proud of the exciting auction packages featuring a Martin guitar, a week in a private villa in Barbados, a private tasting event at Twin Lakes Brewery and much more.”

Founded in 1924, The Music School of Delaware reaches thousands of people from Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland through its instructional programs and 75 public performances each year.
