The Music School of Delaware Welcomes New Board Members

(WILMINGTON, DEL.) May 3, 2010 – The Music School of Delaware, the state’s only nationally accredited statewide community music school, announces newly elected members to its Board of Directors. The new members are Michael D. Dodson, Mark A. Parsells, William J. Stegeman and Robert W. Wynn.
Michael D. Dodson is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Dodson is a graduate of the Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business and Centre College.
Mark A. Parsells is Chairman and CEO of Montpelier Ventures, LLC and serves on the board of Delaware Financial Literacy Institute, Diocesan Council of the Episcopal Church of Delaware, First State Innovation and Regulatory DataCorp. Parsells is a graduate of Harvard Business School, Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management, Vlerick Leuven-Gent Management School and Emory University.
William J. Stegeman founded Jackson ImmunoResearch Laboratories, Inc. in 1982 and is the current President and CEO. He is a graduate of the University of Maine, University of Massachusetts and Rutgers University. Jackson ImmunoResearch Laboratories, Inc. is a season sponsor for the Music School’s 2009-2010 concert season.
Robert W. Wynn is an alumnus of the Music School. Wynn was as a pilot in the Navy for 20 years and also worked at Tidewater Oil and Sun Oil. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and currently serves on the board of 1807 and the Wister Quartet in Philadelphia. He has participated in several amateur ensembles including the Music School’s Wilmington Community Orchestra.

Founded in 1924, The Music School of Delaware reaches thousands of people from Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland through its instructional programs and 75 public performances each year. The Music School is the only nationally accredited program of its kind in Delaware and is the only statewide accredited community music school in the nation.
